Positive Reviews
positive:
A great location.
This centrally-located hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. The streets lining Canal Saint-Martin become a car-free zone on Saturday afternoons and remain closed to traffic until Sunday evening, making this a great place to stroll and enjoy the ambiance of the canal and adjoining parks. You are within walking distance of lots of popular attractions here, and with the close proximity of a metro station, the rest of Paris is practically at your fingertips.

Negative Reviews
negative:
There’s no restaurant here.
Libertel Canal Saint-Martin serves Continental breakfast only, for an added charge, and there is no restaurant or bar on the premises. Luckily, there are dozens of places to dine in the neighborhood. Try Au rendez-vous de la Marine, located close by, for French fare.
negative:
The rooms are small.
Many of the standard rooms are small at this hotel, so if you are travelling with more than one person or need extra room to maneuver, be sure to mention this when booking, as you may want to upgrade to a larger room
negative:
Technical issues may arise.
The Internet reception comes and goes here which could be problematic if you are travelling on business or just want to get an email out in a hurry. Luckily, the reception is better in the public spaces. In addition, the TV only gets French stations, so if you want to watch movies in a language you can understand, you can bring them pre-loaded on a computer or tablet.
