Hotel Le Voyageur (Québec-City, Canada)

Guests said that they liked the Le Voyageur's proximity to Old Quebec City. Guests said that even though the hotel is not at walk able distances from bars and clubs, it has a decent number of restaurants close by.

Many guests commended the staff who they said was helpful, nice and friendly. They appreciated the free breakfast provided by the hotel which they said was good and the menu had a varied selection.

Guests found the rooms large and especially liked the sliding doors between the beds which they said gave them privacy. They liked the strong air conditioning which cooled the rooms splendidly. Some guests liked that the sink was outside the bathroom which was a convenience when more than two guests were sharing the rooms. Many guests appreciated the clean bare wood floors instead of carpets in the rooms.

The hotel does not have an elevator and guests say even though it is a two storied hotel the stairs are rather high and difficult to climb. Many guests found the pool closed while they were staying there which was disappointing when traveling with kids. Wi-Fi speed was not great and guests had the extra problem of having to translate from French to English.

The bathrooms were cramped and guests said the toilet also had very little room and was sluggish in flushing. Some guests said that the bathroom walls had mildew on them.

Some guests said that they found the lighting in the rooms poor and limited, and needs to be improved. Also the rooms have very high ceilings and so the rooms get very dark at nights.
