Of course, this being Tijuana, many guests had come for the city's nightlife. They mentioned that the hotel was just a short distance from Revolution Avenue, where many of the city's best bars and clubs were said to be located.

Very secure with visible security
It seems that many of the guests here were a bit apprehensive about the security situation in Tijuana in general, and around the central area in particular. Most were happy to report that they felt quite secure at the hotel on account of visible security personnel on the premises. Some also mentioned that they were comfortable leaving their car in the secure lot.

Despite the proximity to many great cafes, bars and restaurants in the area, many guests found that they didn't even have to leave the premises to enjoy a great meal or drink. The in-house restaurant-bar was said to offer great food at reasonable prices, clearly attracting many hungry patrons from the rooms above.

Rooms could be a bit chilly
A number of guests travelling in the cooler months reported that the rooms did not seem to be properly heated. Since even Tijuana can get a little cold in winter, it made for a bit of an uncomfortable stay.

A solid number of guests reported that their bathrooms could smell a bit bad at times, with a bit of a sewage smell, indicating that perhaps all is not 100% with the building's plumbing system.
