Positive Reviews
positive:
Staff was kind and helpful
It was very hard to find an unkind word written about the staff, who were themselves said to display great kindness and understanding when carrying out their duties. Guests really seemed to feel that the staff sympathized with their position and would do everything reasonably possible to help them out.
positive:
Pretty good location
Many guests had a number of commitments at various locations in the area. They seemed most happy with the location, saying that since it was both central, and near the highway, it allowed them to get to their destinations in no time at all.
positive:
Decent value
While not mentioned very often, when the question of value was brought up, it was inevitably to say that the guest felt they received excellent value for money. The main reasons for this assessment were that the room rates were quite low, the hotel comfortable enough and the location central.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Room walls are “paper thin”
A couple of guests mentioned that they could clearly hear sound from the adjacent rooms, even something as low as people talking or a TV playing. They felt that there were no effective soundproofing materials used.
negative:
Breakfast very monotonous
While reviews of the breakfast in general were very mixed, one aspect most guests staying for a while definitely didn't like was that it was the same every day. The food available was already fairly limited in terms of variety, so guests staying for a few days quickly get bored with it.
negative:
Problems with the key cards
Quite a number of guests seemed to have problems with their key cards, where they simply stopped working, requiring them to be reset by reception. It was quite frustrating for those who experienced it.
