Positive Reviews
positive:
Breakfast room very spacious
While it did seem to depend on how busy the hotel was, most guests found the breakfast rooms to be very spacious. There was none of the overcrowding and frantic atmosphere one often gets at breakfast buffets at busy times. Everything seemed calm and orderly, with enough food and seating for all.
positive:
Great location opposite the mall
Guests definitely liked the location of the hotel. It was one of their favorite aspects. What most seemed to impress was that it was opposite a large mall, where guests could scratch their shopping itch, and maybe get a bite to eat as well.
positive:
Spotlessly clean
While guests didn't seem to think much of the design and décor, they conceded that the hotel's staff made the best of a somewhat bad situation by keeping both the public areas and the rooms in as clean a state as possible.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Décor very outdated
This was by far the most common complaint. Guest after guest said that they found the decor to be exceptionally old fashioned. It wasn't that they found that the rooms didn't function properly, but just that they looked like they hadn't seen a renovation in a very, very long time.
negative:
Problems with the Wi-Fi
Very unusually for a La Quinta property, there were a number of complaints about the Wi-Fi system. It seems to have caused a great deal of frustration by being unreliable, with guests saying it would simply be unavailable for long stretches of time.
negative:
Rooms a bit small
A fairly large number of guests felt that the rooms were a bit small. It was not exactly that they were so small guests found them uncomfortable to use, but rather that they were smaller than expected based on previous stays at similar hotels.
