About La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Auburn Worcester
Situated in a great spot near both the I-290 and I-90, La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Auburn Worcester offers solid chain hotel reliability and high-tech in-room entertainment options.
The rooms have bold décor and are well equipped. Each features “Smart” TV with cable channels and plug and play functionality, fast Wi-Fi, alarm clock, telephone, coffee maker and work desk.
There is a small lobby lounge with a business corner, but motorists might be more impressed with the ample on-site parking.
A basic continental breakfast, consisting of waffles, cereals muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, pastries and unlimited beverages, is served every morning in the delightful breakfast room. There are a couple of decent restaurants nearby, including an Outback Steakhouse.
Auburn is a historic city, with much of interest. Its center is less than a mile from the hotel. Avid shoppers may be more interested in the Auburn Mall, just across the highway.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Kept very clean
While there were one or two contrary opinions, the vast majority of guests felt that the hotel, both rooms and public areas, were kept clean. They did find fault with the structure of the hotel, but felt housekeeping were at least doing their part to keep it clean. While there were one or two contrary

positive:
Decent location
The hotel is near two interstates, so naturally those who had a bit of traveling to do found it to be in a very convenient location. It seems that the hotel is even used by guest's whose business is as far afield as Boston.
positive:
Beds pretty comfortable
A surprising number of guests went out of their way to report just how comfortable the beds were. It seems that the bed buyers here have achieved the (near) impossible by selecting a mattress with extremely broad appeal.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No in-room fridge or microwave
Well, some of the superior rooms do have these, but the standard rooms do not. They seemed to be sorely missed by some guests, who missed the ability to keep their cold drinks cold and heat up a couple of snack before settling down to watch that movie or big game.
negative:
Looking a bit run down
This was perhaps the most common, and most serious, complaint. While most guests did not take issue with the hotel's cleanliness, many said it was looking decidedly worse for wear, with dings, scratches, faded upholstery and so on. They felt it desperately needed a full makeover.
negative:
Breakfast very basic
The simple continental breakfast served at the hotel did not have too many fans. While guests appreciated having something available, since it meant they didn't need to find a breakfast place themselves, they found what was offered too basic to fulfill their needs.
