Guests say that the La Quinta Inn & Suites Orlando Lake Mary is in a
convenient location near the highway and close to the airport. Golf lovers have
the Mike Bender Golf Academy a few miles away. Guests also like that there is
virtually every kind of restaurant, retail and food store, like Publix,
Starbucks, Fresh Market, McDonalds, Steak & Shake and many other such
options all close by to the hotel.

Spacious and well appointed rooms
Several guests said that the accommodations of the hotel are definitely above adequate. The rooms had almost everything they needed, decent mattresses, sizable drawers, clean sinks and plenty of room to move around.

Guests traveling with pets like birds and dogs say that they try hard to stay at the hotel at every opportunity as it is pet friendly. They said the staff at the hotel is more than willing to help in any way without hesitation.

No business center or computer
Since the hotel is in a location thronged by business offices, guests
expect that the hotel should have a business center. But there is not even a
computer available for guest use. Guests think that this is a glaring oversight
of the hotel.

Dirty hallway carpets; smoke smell and bugs
Some guests commented that the hallway carpets were dirty and not vacuumed. Non smoking guests don't like the smell of smoke drifting into their rooms as the hotel allows smoking. There are ants and other insects and guests have suffered from insect bites following a night's sleep at the hotel.

Coffee machine needs replacement
Many guests complained that the coffee in the dispensing machine in the breakfast area tastes like reconstituted coffee tar that had been left in the pots for days and was then reheated with water.
