Positive Reviews
positive:
Fair value for money
While it seems that many guests did have an issue or two during their stay, after relating them many went on to say that the room rate they received was exceptionally low, so they felt they got a roof over their head and a reasonable deal.
positive:
Staff were friendly and accommodating
The majority of guests had good things to say about the hotel's staff. They were said to be quite friendly and welcoming. They were also helpful and were willing to guide guests and provide critical local information in a busy city that has a reputation for being overwhelming.
positive:
Convenient for the railway station
Guests arriving and departing from Naples main station mentioned that they found the location of the hotel very convenient, since it was just a short walk or cheap taxi ride from the station to the hotel.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Very dodgy area
The hotel is located very close to Naples' main railway station. While this was certainly convenient, guests were very weary of the area in general. It seems that, like many major railway stations in large European cities, the area around this one can be quite seedy and perhaps even dangerous.
negative:
Exceptionally poor Wi-Fi
Guests were really not impressed with the hotel's Wi-Fi system. For a start, many said it didn't work at all in their room, despite in-room Wi-Fi being advertised. Secondly, many said that even if they could get a signal, at reception for example, the service was both unreliable and too slow for modern usage.
negative:
Uncomfortable mattresses
There were an incredible number of complaints about uncomfortable beds. While mattress firmness is notoriously a matter of personal preference, the volume of complaints indicates there really is something amiss with the mattresses the hotel uses.
