Hotel Keihan Kyobashi Grande (Osaka, Japan)

Guests loved the location of the hotel, right next to the Keihan Mall and also the Keihan railway station which makes exploring the city easier and gives you immediate access to shops and restaurants in the mall. Many attractions are a short walk away.

Guests found the room size rather ample for Japan. They described the rooms as very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked great for them.  Guests felt they received a good value for the money and many plan to return.

The staff has been described as professional, very polite and friendly. They speak English well which international travelers appreciated. There is also an information tablet right at the front desk for information regarding weather and other things to know. Besides that, the staff can assist you in finding attractions or how to best navigate the public transportation system.

Guests whose rooms faced the train station sometimes heard the trains at night, even in rooms that were higher up. If you are sensitive to noise you might want to request a room towards the other side of the hotel.

As the hotel has smoking and non-smoking rooms some guests did not like the smell of smoke in the hallways. It might also follow you into the rooms. The hotel has air purifiers but if smoking nearby is a big issue for you, you might not sleep so well here.

Some guests felt it was an inconvenience to have a real hotel key which you have to return and retrieve at the lobby every time you go out or come back. This is however quite common in Japan.
