The historic Hotel Il Granduca has been in business for more than 30 years and is located in one of the best and quiet residential area of Florence, just outside the pedestrian area of the city and only 5 minutes' walk from Santissima Annunziata Square and 15 minutes from the Basilica of Santa Croce. This 3-stars hotel features 20 rooms spread over three floors, including single, double, triple and quadruple rooms. Some of them have balconies and guests can enjoy a lovely inner courtyard with a Carrara marble fountain and wrought iron tables where, according to the season, breakfast is served. During the winter, breakfast is served in a room on the ground floor. Hotel Il Granduca also offers a relaxation area with antique sofas, guides and books that can be consulted by all guests. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in public areas. The interior spaces of this pretty building are characterized by the charm of an environment that has been an habitual retreat of intellectuals and traveling artists at the end of the nineteenth century.
