Positive Reviews
positive:
The comforts of home...
The rooms are widely described as clean, comfortable, and spacious. The large swiveling televisions, viewable from either the bedroom or sitting areas, are a plus for many guests. The hotel is under renovation as of 2016, so guests concerned by worn or dated decor may want to give the hotel another chance when the updates are finished.
positive:
Eat around the clock...
The complimentary breakfast buffet has received many good reviews for the quality and variety of the hot dishes. Night owls like that there is a made-to-order menu available 24/7 as well as lots of 'grab-and-go' options. Several guests have noted that the staff is pleased to recommend good local restaurants, too.
positive:
Great for road trippers...
Drivers undaunted by the area's notoriously heavy traffic can get to downtown Boston or Cambridge in 10-15 minutes. The hotel is very close to the I-93 entrance, and there is ample parking on site. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service to the T (Wellington or Davis station), but some guests note it fills up quickly and you may want to plan on calling a cab or taking the bus from the station if you're planning a late night on the town as the service ends around 9pm.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Light sleepers, beware...
Some have reported noisy air conditioning and fridges, as well as a bit of traffic noise depending on proximity to the freeway.
negative:
Must love dogs...
Guests with allergies should note that the hotel allows pets. It is possible to request a pet-free floor, but these rooms are subject to availability.
negative:
Nobody's perfect...
Though the reviews of the staff are generally positive, a few guests have been dismayed by errors in booking or billing, or else a tardy response to maintenance concerns.
