Front desk staff really shone at the Hampton Inn Denver-West-Golden, and guests had no complaints about the service they received. Helpful staff were approachable, and one of the best parts about staying at this hotel.
positive:
Nice indoor pool.

Negative Reviews
negative:
Rough around the edges.
The majority of guests staying at the Hampton Inn Denver-West-Golden had mostly favorable things to say about their stay. But the occasional guest felt that things like scuffed walls, scratched furniture, and torn towels had been overlooked. Guests thought this hotel would be really top notch with better attention to detail.
negative:
Unescapable smoke.
Smoky rooms that no amount of air freshener could fix were occasionally encountered by guests. A recently legalized substance in Colorado that also has a clinging scent was an additional problem for some guests. Selfish neighbors seemed to feel the need to test the limits of smoke alarms.
negative:
Lax security.
A back door that was supposed to have key card entry was often found to be unlocked. While most felt safe at this location, they also felt that more stringent measures needed to be taken to ensure the well-being of guests and their belongings.
