Positive Reviews
positive:
Fabulous rooms.
Many guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Helios. Modern rooms played a large part in this, including ample space and large, comfortable beds. Amazing air-conditioning was a welcome sight after the heat, and several guests really enjoyed their time on the spacious terrace, complete with furniture for taking in the awesome views.
positive:
Central location.
The location of this hotel contributed greatly to the favourable opinion of guests. Within a few minutes of shops, cafes, and bakeries, and right next to the beach, guests enjoyed being in the middle of it all.
positive:
Helpful staff.
Staff treated guests like valued customers, and visitors particularly noticed the cheerful and welcoming breakfast staff. Front desk personnel were also perfectly pleasant, with many taking note of top notch customer service.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Parking could be tight.
Some guests had to do a bit of maneuvering to get their vehicles into the parking lot. Even guests with regular sized cars sometimes had a hassle, and those driving oversized vehicles were in for a real lesson in how to fit into a tight space.
negative:
Sun beds an extra charge.
Many loved the beach area with plentiful sun loungers, but they weren't as happy with the cost to lay on the beach. Hunkering down in the sand is a strict no-no here, so guests found themselves shelling out extra for a temporary piece of paradise in the form of a sun bed, something that they wished was included in the room price.
negative:
Breakfast not the best.
Several guests ate breakfast at Helios for the sake of convenience, but many were unsatisfied with their experience, expecting more substantial portions and a lower price tag.
