The hotel enjoys great views over Brisbane City from its Spring Hill location and the views featured prominently in comments made by guests who stayed at the hotel.

The breakfast served by the hotel rated positively across reviews, with many people commenting that the quality and selection was impressive and catered to all tastes and appetites during the morning rush.

Many previous guests stayed here due to the hotels proximity to St Andrews hospital and to Suncorp Stadium (which is just down the hill). Other guests also commented that it was an easy 20-35 minute walk into inner city Brisbane and the museums at South Brisbane.

For guests travelling on business or for pleasure and who needed to stay in contact with the office or with family and friends, the Wi-Fi was disappointingly slow and unreliable which was a source of frustration for many.

Guests with an aversion to mould and dirt where not impressed by the standards of cleaning at the hotel and left less than positive comments for housekeeping which suggested that they pay more attention to the details.
