Guests praise the property for its convenient location that makes it easy to get to the nearby shopping malls as well as Qualcomm Stadium, which is a ten-minute drive from the hotel. There are three shopping centers including Fashion Valley within five-minutes of the hotel by car.

The hotel has a big parking lot with plenty of spaces according to visitors who note that there were no problems with this part of the hotel. On-site parking is offered to you free of charge.

There is a fully equipped kitchen in each room of the hotel that includes a microwave, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, cookware and utensils. Travelers say they enjoyed having the full kitchen as it allowed them to cook for themselves or save food to eat at a later time.

Several guests point out that some of the rooms can have an unpleasant odor in them which makes it hard to get comfortable. A couple of visitors state that a few of the non-smoking rooms smelled like smoke while some of the other accommodations had a pet odor in them.

The mattresses at the hotel are rather hard according to some travelers who note that the beds do not make it easy to sleep at night. A couple of guests say the pillows and bedding isn't all that nice either.
