Guests like the look of the hotel after the recent update. They welcome the change in furnishings and fixtures. The new additions and changes complement the hotel's look well.

The gift shop on site is found quite handy by guests. They like that the hotel has a restaurant and bar. Guests feel welcome by the friendliness of the staff who they find courteous and helpful.

The hotel is in a central location. Guests love the fact that they can simply walk down to several attractions including restaurants and shops. The Sainte-Catherine is ten minutes away on foot and the historic district of Old Montreal is 25 minutes away. Other attractions like the Canadian Center for Architecture and the Bell Center Arena close by too.

Some guests find the bedding heavy and mattress hard and uncomfortable to use. They do not like that the air-conditioner unit sticks out of the wall and is huge and noisy. Many guests have found the fridge extractor fan also too loud. The rooms have hardwood floors, which though appear beautiful, create a lot of noise which is heard both inside the rooms and from the rooms next door.

Guests have found bathtubs in the bathrooms dirty with mold around it. The ceiling is water stained and hair is present in the area. Some guests wish for a wall hand mirror installed in the bathrooms for putting on makeup or for shaving.

The Wi-Fi is spotty and most times the connection does not work. Guests, especially ones traveling on work, find this greatly inconvenient. Some guests could not use the spa services on all the occasions they tried.
