On the 1.5 km walking track, this mysterious discovery is accompanied by butterflies and overflowing fruit trees, with the Bey Creek flowing through the valley. Gomeda Valley, full of endless tunnels and pitch-dark caves that wrap around the bottom of Cappadocia like a net, is a different atmosphere for travelers who are both nature-loving and mystery seekers. One of the caves has been used as a reservoir for collecting rain water since ancient times, and it continues to be used to irrigate poplar trees, which can be seen frequently while walking. The continuation of the valley is called Üzengi and the total walking track of the 2 valleys is 6 km. While walking, you will encounter the dovecotes where the Cappadocian pigeons used to nest, and perhaps you will take the best picture of the dovecotes decorated with painted figures in the Gomeda Valley, where the pigeons still visit during the summer months. The dovecotes, which sometimes resemble single, sometimes 6-7 storey large apartments, have both magnificent and frightening views, as if they were huge castles. Locals still use these dovecotes to obtain fertilizer. The architecture of each is different, and some of them are made of stone, and some of the motifs embroidered on the front are meticulously made like works of art.
