Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Racine Harbourwalk (Racine, USA)

The hotel is just a short walk away from the city center with its numerous shops, bars and restaurants. Guests said they found it very convenient being close to all the amenities and also appreciated the hotel's unique location overlooking Lake Michigan. Waking up to the picture-postcard views was the highlight of the stay for many.

Guests found it convenient having access to a range of on-site facilities including an indoor swimming pool which proved popular with many who stayed here. The pool was said to be well-maintained and of decent size whilst those who visited the on-site fitness center were also pleased to find that the facility was spacious with a variety of up-to-date equipment.

Many said that they were pleased with the overall level of customer care they received at the hotel stating that all of the staff were courteous and friendly. Reception staff greeted arriving guests with a smile whilst the waiting staff were said to be polite and attentive.

Guests were disappointed to find a lack of certain amenities in the standard-type rooms such as microwaves and refrigerators. Those who enquired about their availability were told they could have them for a fee.

Quite a few mentioned that the continental breakfast on offer at the hotel was rather disappointing as there were only a limited amount of items available. Guests said that apart from a few pieces of fruit and granola bars they had hardly anything else to choose from.

Guests who wanted to connect to the Internet from their rooms were disappointed to find that the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak and intermittent which meant that many had to log on several times.
