Positive Reviews
positive:
Good central location
Because you are within a few minutes' walk of the nearest station as well as a variety of sights, including Englischer Garten, you can easily enjoy central Munich on foot. The hotel is in a quiet location, too, so you won't be bothered by street noise while trying to rest in your room.
positive:
Friendly personnel
The staff is friendly and professional, with admirable dedication to providing excellent service to each and every guest. You'll feel welcomed as soon as you arrive, and they're happy to accommodate special requests such as keeping your luggage for you while you're out and about before check-in or after check-out.
positive:
Well stocked room fridges
The room fridges come stocked with beer, water, and Coke; but the best thing about it is that those are all complimentary.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Some beds are too small
If you're anywhere over average height, the beds in some rooms will be too small for you to sleep comfortably. When you book your room, make sure that you choose one with a larger bed.
negative:
Thin walls and poor noise isolation
The walls don't do a good job keeping out the sounds of neighbouring rooms or the hallway, so you're likely to hear it every time someone closes a door nearby. And if your neighbours are inconsiderate and loud, you'll definitely be able to hear them.
negative:
Insufficient pillows
A number of guests have complained that the pillows are not very comfortable; also, only one is provided per bed. The staff may be able to provide extras on request, but if you can't sleep without a good pillow you may need to bring one from home, or consider staying elsewhere.
