Positive Reviews
positive:
Truly dedicated staff.
The welcome from staff members on the front desk couldn’t be better. Check in is simple and the highly personalized service ensures that any queries, or minor room problems, are quickly sorted. If the hotel is wondering where to allocate salary increases – start with the front desk!
positive:
Lots of pillow-talk.
Rooms are clean and well maintained. They are just about keeping pace with some of the hotel's more dated features. The shower is super clean – and great. WiFi is fine and there’s no pillow shortage here.
positive:
Super location.
It’s just off the Interstate, so is very easy to find. Then, all sorts of facilities are just a few yards away. IHOP, Starbucks, Cracker Barrel … and gas stations; they’re all just across the parking lot!
Negative Reviews
negative:
Time to get laid.
Almost everything, apart from waffles, is a disaster at breakfast. There’s a noticeable absence of hot items and if the eggs are fresh … they got laid got laid many moons ago. *Rumour has it that they are of a frozen variety! Breakfast is something to be avoided. In fairness, though, the overall value at this hotel is still outstanding.
negative:
Time to de-clutter.
Old furniture is bulkier than modern and it’s the old stuff that they’ve got here. In fact, rooms are over-furnished and feel smaller and more cramped because of the amount of dated furniture that’s crammed in.
negative:
Throw in the towel!
If you are in a group, you are likely to find that, per person, too few towels are provided. Request further supplies from the front desk and under scrutiny, you have to sign an undertaking before they are released. They are only of very average quality, so not likely to be stolen. What a drama!
