Positive Reviews
positive:
Good value for money
The overwhelming majority of guests who brought up the question of value for money felt that they received excellent value during their stay. They reckoned that the room rate they received was quite low and that they received decent accommodation in a good location in return.
positive:
Convenient location
A number of guests remarked that they liked being so close to the highway. It made the hotel dead easy to find initially, and was also great for when they were traveling to other locations in the region.
positive:
Decent breakfast
Most of the guests who mentioned the hotel’s complimentary breakfast said that, though to was simple, it included a decent variety and was enough to get them going in the morning.
Negative Reviews
negative:
No elevator
Although the hotel is only two stories high, the lack of an elevator did negatively affect some guests. Those who had some mobility issues, but could not secure a room on the first floor of course experienced quite severe problems, while some others were simply unhappy with having to climb up and down the flight of stairs multiple times a day.
negative:
Very small pillows
An extraordinary number of guests had the rather specific complaint that the pillows were too small. In fact comically small compared to the size of the bed. They weren’t sure why they were so small, but clearly did not like them at all.
negative:
Rooms smelled like “wet dog”
A number of guests mentioned that their room had an unpleasant smell, which they described as “wet dog”. The hotel is pet friendly, so guests reckoned the rooms had not been properly cleaned or deodorized after a previous guest with a dog had stayed there.
