Rooms offer guests a home away from home. Previous visitors have been complimentary of the clean and comfortable suites, conveniences like the Keurig coffee machine and the well-sized beds. There are also plenty of power points for charging multiple devices.

For most, the hotel represents excellent value for money- especially when compared against hotels in central Pittsburgh. The décor is pleasant, food is well-cooked and of good quality, and the pool and leisure facilities are an added bonus. Little touches- such as fruit-infused water in the lobby, make all the difference.

If you're heading to one or more of the local stadiums, you'd struggle to find a better location. If you'd rather not take your vehicle, you can leave your car in the hotel car park and venture out via the hotel shuttle.

While most staff are said to be friendly and efficient, many guests suggest that the night staff would benefit from some additional training; with some suggesting their attitudes could be greatly improved.

While not enough to detract from the enjoyment of most guests' stays, several have mentioned maintenance issues. The air conditioning is said to be temperamental and noisy, the Wi-Fi signal is slow during periods of heavy usage, and the lack of slow-closing mechanisms on fire doors means noise disturbances during the night.

The rooms are, perhaps, a little dated. The carpets in some rooms are stained and previous guests have mentioned marked walls too. Nothing major but, a small renovation project would make a huge difference.
