Service is friendly, warm and expedient. Guests said that the hotel employees, many of them mentioned on first name basis, were prompt, friendly and welcoming.

If you need to be near University of California Riverside, this is an easy place to stay because it’s about a few minutes away. Also, the hotel is situated near restaurants, shops and grocery stores.

The hotel is tidy, well-maintained and has great customer service. It’s everything you want a hotel to provide but is not overpriced. Several guests commented that it’s good value for your money and that it exceeds expectations. They also noted that this hotel had much better reviews than neighboring ones in the area.

Although the breakfast menu looks extensive, it’s not very good. Guests described cold, hard potatoes and bland, overcooked eggs and hardened bacon. They said there was a lack of effort to make breakfast enticing and delicious.

Not only was breakfast reportedly not very good, it wasn’t complimentary. Several reviewers said that they were confused over which room packages included breakfast and which did not. The hotel could’ve made the distinction a lot more clearly, they said.

The fitness center was very sparse and the equipment looked really outdated, guests said. Also, it was uncomfortable to work out in a fitness room that didn’t have an air conditioning—especially in a dry, hot place like Riverside.
