positive:
Staff are real friendly.
The guys and gals working here aren't the kind of people who dispense cursory smiles and regurgitate 'Have a nice day' like corporate robots: these guys give 100 per cent personal effort and do their darnedest to ensure you have a great time during your stay. This team don't just carry your bags up the stairs, hail you a cab or give you the lowdown on city life because they're expected to, they do it because they want to. And it makes all the difference. Outstanding hospitality all round.

Fantastic location.
Being within walking distance of Chelsea Market and the wonderful High Line park is enough in itself to warrant a stay here. Throw in the fact that both Greenwich Village and the Meatpacking District are within an easy saunter and boom! you're sold. Having the 14th Street 'A', 'C', and 'E' subway station a minute's walk away is a real bonus too as iconic NYC sights like Times Square and the Empire State Building are no more than two miles away from here.

Breakfasts are a real treat.
You'd think that hard boiled eggs; sliced meats, cheeses and olives; homemade bread; New York bagels, croissants and muffins (delivered daily) would be more than enough to get you going in the morning. Not here it isn't. At the Chelsea Pines you also get fresh and dried fruits; yogurts; cold cereals and hot oatmeal (in season) along with plenty of juices and espresso, coffee and a selection of teas to wash it all down with. You even get a choice of venues to eat in: the breakfast lounge, indoor greenhouse or pretty garden (weather permitting). Can you think of a better way to start a day in NYC.?.
