Hotel Casamalfi (Amalfi, Italy)

The apartments are quite minimally furnished and not too big however they are very well maintained and previous guests have noted the high level of cleanliness and neatness in the units.

Being quite high up, the building enjoys some postcard-quality views over the surrounding villages and hills as well as of course the beach and harbour. It may well be worth it for you to pay the extra few Euro and get a room with the sea view to enjoy this throughout your whole stay.

Residence Casamalfi is just off the beach and far enough to be away from the noise of the town centre on busy nights but still close enough to walk with no trouble at all, so you get to choose when you'd like to be immersed in the activity of the town.

Guests are met on arrival by the host who takes care of your check-in process, however he works at an office in a different location so there is no reception as such, just a phone number to call with any possible issues.

The entrance to the Residence Casamalfi building is up a steep slope and guests in some cases must come up almost 150 stairs to get to their apartment. Those travelling with heavy luggage should note this although the host can arrange for a porter to help with carrying them up or down. It is however worth it for many when they get to see the view at the top!

The only vehicle parking spaces available are a short walk away although in a secure location and a daily charge applies for the use of this.
