This was perhaps what most impressed guests during their stay. They mentioned that both the staff and management were exceptionally friendly, offering a welcome and assistance when required.

Guests were clearly very happy with the complimentary breakfast offered by the hotel. They were impressed that it offered not only the regular continental staples, but hot options like biscuits and gravy as well. It seemed to set them up for the day.

The majority of guests who brought up the question of value for money and the room rate reckoned they had received good value. The feeling seemed to be that they received decent accommodation in a great location at a rate that they fond hard to match at any nearby properties.

A number of guests were not at all happy with the cleanliness of their rooms on check in. The problems ran from moldy bathrooms to a surprising number of guests finding bugs in their room, but whatever the specific problem, it did not result in a good first impression.

Guests felt that the whole property, rooms and public areas alike, was very out of date. It had clearly been some time since it had seen an update and guests felt that it urgently needed one now.

A number of guests reported having problems with the Wi-Fi system. Some mentioned it didn’t work at all, while others said it worked poorly, especially in their room.
