The hotel is in a pleasant and fairly quiet setting, not far from the city centre and close to the metro. The Marie-de-Issy station about a minute away. There are plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood.
The main approach and reception area will make you a bit ‘glum', but persevere and you'll find that the rooms are well decorated, clean, welcoming and warm.
It's really noticeable how friendly and helpful the staff members on reception are. They are all the same though, including the cleaners who ‘do' your room every day.
Hotel catering is limited to breakfast. Not everyone wants, or can afford, restaurant dining. The hotel itself is a budget one, so it would be a good policy to include a small refrigerator in the room. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby and it would be a real help for financially strapped guests or those here on business ... and in a rush.
The location is OK for tourists but don't expect to be in central Paris - you aren't! It's a good 20-30 minutes on the metro (*not too bad really). Don't worry about missing your stop on the way back. If coming to the Marie-de-Issy station (Line 12) … it's the end of the line anyway!
The hotel attracts commercial and leisure guests. The business folk need to make an early start so it's worth making the effort to get to the dining area first. Any later and you'll be waiting for food to be prepared in a setting that is overcrowded.
