Negative Reviews
negative:
Disruptive renovations
Renovations have been taking place at this hotel (2015/2016) and a fair number of guests have been disappointed by the resulting disruptions. One of the biggest disappointments is that the pool is closed during renovations but guests also mention excessive noise throughout the hotel.
negative:
Some noise concerns
In addition to the noise created by the construction workers (which has been reported as starting as early as 7:30am), several guests also report that they found the walls between rooms so thin that they could hear other guests talking. The hallways are also said to be quite noisy thanks to elevators and ice machines.
negative:
Excessive traffic
Although guests often comment that this hotel is set back far enough from the road to shield you from much of the associated traffic noise, they also mention that the traffic levels in the immediate area and on the route into Boston can be high. Leave plenty of time for journeys - you might need it.
