Hotel Azur Montmartre (Paris, France)

This hotel is in a fantastic area. There are many great restaurants and bars within walking distance. It is not a far walk to the metro station which has a great line for tourists. You can also wonder around that neighbourhood and take in the arty culture and feel safe doing so. There is a supermarket not far from the hotel where you can buy provisions.

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. Although they are not very fluent in English, they do their best to find out what you need and if they can help you in any way. The staff are available 24-hours a day and they are full of fantastic ideas on where you should go out to eat or visit.

The interior of the hotel shows signs of recent renovations. The rooms are not too small considering the normal room sizes in Paris. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The bathrooms are stocked with an array of toiletries for you to use and they are also very clean.

Although most guests reported a comfortable stay, some guests had trouble withe the stairs as there is no lift in the building. Although this was a problem, the staff helped to carry the guests luggage to their rooms if they were upstairs.

The Hotel Azur Montmartre website states that each room is fitted with a cupboard, unfortunately this is not the case. Some guests reported that there was no where to put their clothing. There was not a cupboard, hook or chest of drawers for them to use.

The Wi-Fi at the hotel is not as easily accessible as you would think, it resets itself each day and regularly disconnects. Some guests also reported that the electricity in the hotel was quite unreliable and so this would also have an impact on their Internet connection.
