Positive Reviews
positive:
Attractive pool and garden setting.
Imagine kicking back on a lounger in a gorgeous garden, with a view of the sea, while the kids splash about in the pool. It's no wonder guests rave about the gardens at Rio Marinas - it's a safe place for children, and a beautiful setting to relax in.
positive:
Relaxed beachside location.
When you can just walk out onto the beach in the morning, you know you're on holiday, and the quiet location of Rio Marinas makes it especially relaxed. Still, Nerja town is just a 20-minute walk away, so it's convenient too.
positive:
Free parking and good transport.
The free, plentiful parking onsite is a real bonus, plus there's car hire available. If you don't want to drive, it's no big deal, since there's a bus stop right outside, which has a regular service to central Nerja.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Tired-looking apartments.
The apartments could do with some refurbishment - guests say that the decor is outdated and tired, while some of the furnishings and fittings are no longer in great condition.
negative:
Apartments lacking in amenities.
When you don't have the convenience of dining facilities onsite, it's even more important for the apartments to be well-equipped, yet some kitchen essentials are missing, including kettles. There's no iron either.
negative:
Limited service can be an issue.
The front desk is only open at limited times each day, and guests have said that it can be hard to find anyone to deal with basic queries or problems, and communication with guests is not always great.
