Hotel Apartamentos Sureda (Canyamel, Spain)

Guests at the Apartamentos Sureda are largely pleased with the location. The apartment is close to the beach. There are plenty of shops nearby. There are several restaurants and ice cream parlours within a ten-minute walk.

Guests have noted the apartments to be a good value for money. Though the room equipment is basic, the guests have been happy with the room size and general cleanliness. The pool is regularly cleaned and generally not busy. The staff provide sun-mats, floats and balls to play with in the pool. The pool table is well maintained.

When guests come over to an accommodation and receptionist is not available, they are generally made to wait. The Sureda, however, is more efficient. There is a self check-in facility where the guests can collect room key and directions to the room at the reception and complete the formalities later. Many guests have been pleasantly surprised with this facility.

Though the apartment is noted to be clean by a number of guests, there have also been complaints that the apartment looks old and needs renovation. There were complaints regarding the matresses being old with worn out springs. Some of the rooms do not have a bathroom lock. Some guests faced an issue with electricity tripping out a few times. Some rooms do not have air conditioning which makes summer stay uncomfortable.

Guests have noted that the building needs sound proofing. Guests walking in and out of the rooms could be heard in the neighbouring rooms. Some of the neighbouring hotels have late night concerts every week. The music is generally on till close to midnight. Earplugs are highly recommended.

Some of the guests had an issue with the Wi-Fi connectivity. They complain that the speed is too low to download anything. Additionally, the network was weak for some guests on the top floor.
