Located less than a mile from the beaches and marinas that draw the crowds to Puerto Rico, Apartamentos Florida Apartments offers basic self catering accommodation with a lovely pool terrace to guests looking for an uncomplicated summer break. All rooms have private balconies, many overlooking the pool terrace. Each features fully equipped kitchenette, separate bedroom and living/dining areas and TV’s. There is ample parking available, and also a place to securely store bikes and sports equipment. Paid Wi-Fi is also available in the complex. This is more a self catering apartment rental building, and there are no on-site dining facilities. There is a convenient shopping complex right across the road which has a number of dining options available The main attractions in then area are undoubtedly the beaches. Amadores Beach is particularly lovely, and is less than three miles from the Apartamentos Florida Apartments. Golfers will find the Anfi Tauro Club two miles away.
This was perhaps what guests most appreciated about Florida Apartments. They mention that there is a shopping centre right across the road that not only has the normal sort of shops, but also cafes, restaurants and even a nightclub. They found it very handy indeed.
Guests were very happy to report that they did not experience any problems securing a sun lounger when they wished. It was mentioned that the whole towel placement procedure does occur, but these only seem to affect the loungers in the very best positions, leaving many others remaining.
Even guests who had an odd problem here and there with the apartments did concede that they were spotlessly clean on arrival. While cleaning was not reported as daily, it seemed to take place most days, and guests said that the cleaners did a good job.
It was pointed out that there is a nightclub very nearby, and if you left the patio doors open you would clearly hear the “duff duff” music in your room, and perhaps have trouble sleeping. It was said, however that with the doors closed it was quite bearable.
Guests were very surprised to find that there were no English TV stations available on the cable package, not even a news channel. Considering the complex's popularity with British visitors they found this inexplicable.
Guests were not at all happy to discover that Wi-Fi was an optional extra that required payment. Many thought that, considering the central role connectivity plays it people's lives nowadays, it should have been included in the room rate.
