Hotel Apartamentos California (Ciutadella, Spain)

The staff at the complex are very helpful and great at helping you navigate your way around the city. They are full of information about the hotspots in the area. There are plenty of places to eat and numerous beaches to visit. The staff can hip you to the best eating places o to visit. Mercadal and Ciutadella seem to be the two favourite places. The personnel can also inform you about the best transportation routes and prices for anywhere you want to go. They are extremely helpful and courteous.

Be sure to take advantage of the outdoor BBQ area. It's a pleasant experience when the weather permits. There is a nearby supermarket as well, if you want to cook a meal in the apartment.

The apartments have solar panels. This gives you an ideal of how modern and how well maintained the facility is.

This may bother some and not others, but your room number and name are exposed on a board with the key to your apartment for all to see. Security concerns may come to mind; however, this is not to indicate that the place is unsafe. It's just surprising to walk in and see your name and other information plastered on a board!

The Wi-Fi connection is iffy. There should be better kitchen utensils available as well.

The place is not soundproofed enough. Whether you are bothered by noise will depend on what time of year you make your visit. Overall, the area is fairly quiet.
