Hotel Adler is centrally located in Zurich's scenic Old Town, a lovely area to visit and very convenient for sightseeing and transit. It's an easy walk to and from the main railway station, with regular connections to Zurich Airport, and it's minutes from the closest tram. While it's great to have such easy access to city transit, the real bonus is that you can walk to so many of the city's top attractions. Set in the pedestrian area, you'll love wandering the streets and exploring the areas trendy restaurants and boutique shops.

This historic hotel is beautiful and full of character, with unique murals depicting areas of Zurich in the bedrooms. The refurbished rooms are clean and cosy with comfortable beds. A nice perk, the minibars include free water and soft drinks. Overall, the hotel offers good value for such an ideal location in an expensive city like Zurich.

Front desk staff is very friendly and always happy to help out with directions, reservations and tourist tips. The complimentary breakfast provided is fresh and has good selection—you won't be disappointed. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant Swiss Chuchi is fantastic with tasty Swiss dishes and specialty fondues; make sure to book a table during your stay as it can get busy, however.

There is no air conditioning at Hotel Adler so the rooms get hot in summer months.

Rooms don't include tea or coffee service, which would be a nice addition.

Rooms on lower floors are often noisy in the evening, especially in summer months with people dining outdoors. Request a room higher up and facing away from the main square if you want a quieter experience.
