Negative Reviews
negative:
The central location brings noise.
Although not as busy as some tourist zones, the area still attracts noise as does the building in which the bed and breakfast is situated. Guests reported that sounds from the first-floor restaurant can be heard until around 1am and thin walls do not help.
negative:
Beds could use an update.
A number of people found the beds in their rooms to be old, springy, and hard, preventing them from getting a good night's sleep. Others added that the pillows needed replacing and that the sofa beds were lumpy and uncomfortable.
negative:
Odd smells in the bathrooms.
It was not uncommon for visitors to discover odd sewer-like smells coming from their bathrooms. Travellers were unsure whether there was a problem with the building's plumbing or if smells from outside were wafting in through the bathrooms.
