The breakfast is delightful and guests say the staff is lovely and attentive. Guests appreciate the home cooked food.
Many guests find the rooms and especially the suites located at the top of the building lovely as it has lots of space, comfortable beds and spectacular sea views.
Guests find the B&B impersonal as the front desk is never manned. Guests are not greeted on arrival and left to fend for their own. Only a note is left at the reception to indicate the room number with the key left in the door. Elderly guests find it difficult to do things on their own with no help even with their luggage.
Many guests find the rooms rather old fashioned, tired and quite uninspiring. Cleanliness takes a beat seat and guests say there is half an inch of dust on the floor and dirt like fingernails behind the bedside table. Noise is another issue as guests can hear the plumbing which appears to sound from inside the walls. They could also hear something that sounded like a boiler firing up and roaring every 30 minutes interrupting their sleep.
Bathrooms have showers that pose an issue for tall people. Some bathrooms have serious health and safety issues as the toilet seats are broken, moves and slips off the pan. Guests say they cannot report these issues to the owners as they are never present.
