We have just five beautiful rooms each embracing our historic architecture and true to our values, very casual and very comfortable, Frederick, Josephine, Honeychild, Niddy, Noddy. Dogs are welcome in Honeychild. Frederick A friendly but ghostly spirit that looks over travellers seeking warmth, sustenance and safety as they travel across the Marsh. Honeychild Once a great estate on Romney Marsh famous for sheep rearing and wool. Josephine A room so legend has it that Josephine awaited the arrival of Napoleon! Niddy Named after the ancient spinning wheel used by local ladies to turn the fleeces of our sheep into garments of great value at a time when man made fibres simply did not exist.
