Rooms were large and very comfortable. There was a king size bed and a separate single bed in the room. Spotlessly clean, the rooms were well-equipped with all the basic amenities say guests. The guest house is disability friendly and has a separate room for the disabled guests with no stairs at the bottom of the car park. Lovely breakfast in the pub
Guests loved the breakfast spread served here. They could choose from cereals and fruits along with a cooked option and much more. The evening meal also had a great menu and was deliciously prepared. The pub was done up beautifully with real log fires. It also served high-quality ales which are listed in the CAMRA. Guests enjoyed the entertainment programs too.
Many guests travelling with their pets were more than happy to stay in this pet savvy guesthouse. Pets were also given small treats during breakfast time. Car parking could be done in a very secure area with gates locked up every night. It also had plenty of space for all the cars to be parked.
The Wi-Fi connection was available only in the pub and not in the rooms which was quite disappointing for guests who wanted to work online. Moreover, they could not work in the pub as it was quite noisy.
Few guests felt that the view of the car park from the rooms was not very appealing and could be very depressing if someone was spending a lot of time inside the room.
Apart from these two concerns, most of the guests were very satisfied with their stay in this guesthouse.
