With a central positon in March and housed within a property dating back to the 19th century, the Causeway is a simple accommodation choice that offers ample on-site parking and a complimentary breakfast. March town centre is a ten-minute walk from the guest house. Every centrally heated room at the Causeway includes an en-suite complete with shower. All of the guest house’s rooms come equipped with a large colour television, hairdryer, clock radio and tea/coffee making facilities. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property and is supplied at no additional cost by the guest house. Along with a varied selection of cereals, porridge, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, tea/coffee and hot chocolate, a plentiful full English breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. Wimblington can be reached in approximately five minutes by car from the guest house. Wisbech town centre is a 20-minute drive.
Former guests were regularly full of praise for the rooms at the Causeway. Along with being reportedly decorated in a tasteful fashion and featuring comfortable furnishings, the guest house's rooms were described as immaculately clean by many.
Breakfast was a highlight for essentially all previous visitors to the guest house. As well as apparently serving up generous portions, the quality of the accommodation's breakfast was often said to be at a near flawless standard.
For those that travelled in their own transport, the convenience of off-street parking was a big plus point for past guests that stayed at the Causeway. It has been noted that the accommodation supplies an ample amount of on-site parking spaces.
Whilst it was far from a notable negative for many, the location of the Causeway was somewhat occasionally brought up as a disadvantage. Along with being on the outskirts of March town centre, the guest house's position on a main road has caused noise-related problems in the past.
Despite most not having an issue with this particular aspect, a small number of former guests were critical about the en-suite showers provided by the guest house. It was stated at times that it can be tricky to control the shower temperature.
