The menu provided in the restaurant is very well thought out with a few interesting additions. Guests are very impressed by the quality of the food and the care and attention shown to detail. You may have to wait if it's busy but it's worth it.
From the rooms to the food and drink in the inn, everything at this place is perfect, and you'll find that it's a bargain compared to similar places in the locality. You'll struggle to find anywhere with such lovely grounds at such a fair price.
This is a traditional pub, but some guests feel that it has more of a chain hotel feel to it. The say that the owners aren't making enough use of the old world charm of the place and have made it a little too modern for their liking.
