Locomotion hotel is a family pub with lodging facilities in the middle of Eaglescliffe in Stockton-on-Tees. The two star budget hotel is ideally located for the mainline railway, the A19, A66 and Teesside Airport. There are three smoke free rooms for letting. Complimentary Wi-Fi, TV, modern furnishings, complimentary tea/coffee and en suite facilities are provided in every room. Locomotion has a public sports bar with TV, lounge bar and smoking areas. Onsite parking is available. There is a garden and tour ticket assistance available for guests. There is a restaurant and bar here which serves lunch and dinner. The establishment does not serve breakfast. Preston Park and Butterfly World are some close by attractions. Durham is about a half hour drive and Middlesbrough about a ten minute drive. Newcastle International Airport is about an hour's drive.
The Sportsman is a pub that also offers accommodation. The beds are comfortable and the pub does the job of offering a place to doff down for the night said guests. The hotel offers good value for money thought a lot of guests who said the hotel is cheap and cheerful.
