A three storied, two-star inn with 94 rooms, Comfort Inn is situated in the business areas of Andrews AFB Clinton, USA. It is two miles away from Surratt House Museum, which was the former home of John Wilkes Booth. Rooms and suites are equipped with 32-inch television with satellite channels, DVD player, desk, refrigerator, microwave, tea/coffee maker, air conditioner and iron/ironing board. Bathrooms are provided with shower/tub combination, free toiletries and hair dryer. Suites add separate living areas, and some include kitchenettes. Wi-Fi and parking are complimentary. Pets are allowed at extra charges. Services like laundry, 24-hour front desk, ATM, express Check-in/Check-out and fax can be availed by the guests. A fitness center, computer station and meeting room are also present. A complimentary breakfast buffet is available. There are vending machines for drinks/snacks. Few restaurants are located close by. Branch Avenue Metro Station is four miles and Fort Dupont Park is nine miles away from Comfort Inn Washington DC Joint Andrews AFB.
Even though the breakfast is free, its quality and spread is not compromised upon. Guests liked the choice of items that included Belgian waffles, fresh fruits, hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, cold cereals, muffins, sausages and much more. They were freshly cooked and the refills were also done promptly without having to wait for long periods.
Guests had good words of appreciation to say about all the staff members. They were well-trained and had a very positive attitude. Lending a helping hand without a sulking face was one of the positive qualities. In fact, most of the guests recommended this hotel because of the pleasant and ever-accommodating staff members. Check-in and Check-out process was also very smooth.
Most of the guests were pleasantly surprised to see that the Wi-Fi connection here was quite fast and efficient unlike many hotels. They could comfortably work online without any glitches or disconnection.
Some of the guests felt that the neighborhood is slightly dicey and strangers could walk into the gated entrance of the hotel. Having strict checking measures would do well.
Rooms have very poor sound insulation due to the thin walls and guests could hear their neighbors talking and laughing late through the night.
Few guests were troubled by bed bugs in the beds. They were crawling all over the bed, which was not a very pleasant sight at all. Some of the guests were bitten and also had to suffer allergic reactions.
