Located along Route 66, but just far enough removed from road noise, many guests were happy with the location of the hotel. Guests loved the convenient walking distance to the Grand Canyon Railway depot, and were pleased with the overall proximity to shops and dining.

While certain rooms seemed to have undergone a full or partial update, some guests observed dated furnishings in need of replacement. Other guests were dissatisfied with the lobby and hallway decor, stating that some touch-ups were necessary to give a welcoming impression.
