About Grand La Villais Hotel and Villas
Situated in a quiet location less than a mile from the beaches, Grand Hardy’s Hotel, Villas and Spa offers guests a tranquil oasis and terrific spa facilities.
The rooms are a unique blend of sleek modernity and Balinese tradition, and feature flat screen TV’s tea and coffee making facilities and much more. Most rooms have a private balcony or patio.
The star attraction is the lovely courtyard pool, surrounded by lush gardens. There is also a spa area where guests can book one of the many beauty and therapeutic treatments offered.
The Star Café is the place to go for simple food from canapés to steaks and a casual and lively atmosphere. At sunset why not head up to the rooftop bar and toast the setting of the sun with friends.
Some of Seminyak’s best dining is on a strip just 500 yards from the hotel, while the beach is about 0.7 miles away.

Situated in a quieter area
Several guests mentioned that the hotel was a little bit away from the main commercial and activity centers. They liked this since it resulted in a much more peaceful environment, and the restaurants and shops were in any event just a short walk away.

Terrific value private villas
While there were one or two negative reviews, the vast majority of guests staying in one of the private villas available clearly loved their stay. While most conceded that they had some minor issues, and so did not justify a “five star” rating, they were nonetheless close to this rating. The private pools seemed to be the favorite feature, with guests being surprised by how big they were.

Attentive and accommodating staff
Again and again guests would mention how fantastic the staff were. While there was something of a language barrier, guests nonetheless found them to be friendly and very willing to go the extra mile to make sure their guests had everything needed to enjoy their vacation at every step of the way.

Problems with the air conditioning
While certainly not something that affected most guests, a good number did say that they experienced problems with their air conditioning units. They either didn’t work at all, or properly, and guests needed to contact reception in order for them to be fixed.

Stained bed sheets
An extraordinary number of guests complained that their bed sheets had noticeable stains. They didn’t feel like they had been properly laundered in the past, and at this point would probably need to be replaced.

Guests mentioned small maintenance issues with their rooms or villas that gave them the impression that management wasn’t paying attention to the details.
