A sweet little gîte for two in the centre of a dreamy medieval village. Happily private but with loads to explore from your door. The Gite is located in the monument town of Marcilhac-sur-Célé in the beautiful Célé Valley. Marcilhac is on the secondary route to Santiago de Campostella. Situated in the Parc naturel régional des Causses du Quercy; an area of outstanding natural beauty, rich in history and architecture. The town has a small grocery store, a bakery and a restaurant. The Gite is tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished, with Persian carpets throughout. The bedroom, with a view over the town and the limestone cliffs, has a double bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath/shower, toilet and washbasin. The well-equipped, fitted kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, electric kettle, washer/dryer and fridge. The terracotta tiled sitting room is also supplied with a CD player and reading material. Internet is available in the Gite. The private courtyard/garden has a barbecue and garden furniture for outdoor eating. The Célé River is less than 100 metres away where one can canoe, have picnics or go swimming.
