At the Santa Lucía valley, one of the most beautiful places in Gran Canaria, is situated El Palmeral del Valle, half way between the excellent beaches in the south and the peaks of the island. This house consists on an old “gañanía” or traditional farmhouse, which was renovated in 2001, keeping its traditional structure and architecture but at the same time providing the best facilities. It is an ideal place to rest in the middle of the nature. Both secluded yet well connected. The rural accommodation El Palmeral del Valle is situated in the middle of a farm, with two hectares in which a great variety of fruit trees, olives and palm trees are grown. There are shops, snack bars, restaurants and cafes within a kilometer. At the house’ environs hiking, climbing, biking and trail running can be enjoyed. In Santa Lucía is founded the archaeological site and interpretation of the Ansite Fortitude, as well as the Sorrueda dam. Pozo Izquierdo beach is only at 25km, one of the Windsurf World Championship stages.
