Rooms are well appointed, modern, spacious and clean. No problems! The air conditioning is good too. There are restaurants and shops nearby and you won't have a problem getting a taxi … they're like locusts.
The rooftop infinity pool is superb. Breakfast is OK, although it would benefit from more choices being available. The airport shuttle is useful and it's not a long, hard slog to the airport; it's only a 10 minute trip.
Things like laundry are undertaken promptly. Same too with room service. It's a bit pricey but the food from the restaurant is excellent. Rooms are kept immaculately clean so top marks to the cleaning staff.
Members of staff aren't dedicated to providing a reasonable level of customer service. Pre-arrival requests for items to be left in the refrigerator are ignored, the promised airport shuttle doesn't turn up and if you ask for a quiet room, it is quite likely that you will finish up being kept awake by traffic noise. Some members of staff aren't particularly welcoming, resulting in a poor start to the visit.
The free shuttle into town is a boon. Make sure you've got some money though. Suddenly, as evening falls, they start charging.
It's not cheap to stay here and at these prices, you'd at least expect some assistance with luggage - but, no. There are luggage trolleys in evidence but ask for one prior to leaving and you are wasting your breath.
