For more than 100 years, the Belvédère Strandhotel has stood for traditional hospitality. Our renowned 4 **** superior house, located slightly above and overlooking the town, features a unique view of the Spiezer Bay and Lake Thun and is surrounded by a spacious garden. Consisting of the original building--completely reconstructed in 2012--and an integral modern wing, just completed in 2020, the hotel has 56 stylish rooms and suites. The hotel’s private beach on the lake and the infinity pool in the hotel with direct access to the lawn invite you to relax on warm days. In colder temperatures, you can recharge your batteries in the in-house wellness area. The restaurant is well known for its creative and high quality dishes made from regional products and offers indoor and outdoor seating. In the "Captain’s Bar", which is architecturally reminiscent of a ship, we welcome you to enjoy an unforgettable sunset with a glass of wine or a drink.
