    Negative Reviews

    negative:

    Parking frustrations

Although free overnight parking was available at nearby public car parks and on-street, the availability of spaces wasn't always guaranteed, especially during peak periods. Furthermore, daytime charges often applied in the town centre.

    negative:

    Occasional criticism of some rooms

Critics sometimes said they felt certain rooms had a dated feel or were rather small. There were also occasional claims that there were bathrooms that were insufficiently cleaned or in need of modernization.

    negative:

    Noise travelled fairly easily

Being a listed building, some of the centuries old walls at this bed and breakfast allowed sound from adjacent rooms to travel too easily, which proved to be a nuisance for some light sleepers.
