This traditional, family run B&B lies in the heart of Bournemouth, just a short walk from the town centre and Lower Gardens. Along with its convenient location, Dolphins Hotel boasts friendly, enthusiastic staff and maintains a welcoming 'home from home' atmosphere.
The hotel has ten simple yet cosy guest bedrooms, all of which come complete with modern en-suite showers and Internet access. Flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee making facilities are also included.
Guests are welcome to relax and make use of the barbecue facilities in the small garden. Limited free parking is available on a 'first-come, first-served' basis in front of the hotel.
Cereal and juice followed by a full English breakfast made with locally sourced produce is served each day in the cosy, wooden-floored dining room. A whole host of eateries, bars, pubs and clubs can be found nearby.
The beach and pier are both ten-minutes' walk from Dolphins Hotel.

It's not hard to find the hotel managers; they're always buzzing around trying to sort things so that their guests won't encounter any problems during their stay. And if for some reason something unexpected or unwelcome does crop up during your stay, you

Ask and you shall receive' is the mantra banded around at breakfast time. Simply tell the staff what kind of cooked brekky you're in the mood for and they'll cook it to your exact requirements. Plenty of it too.

Parking can be a problem.
Although your chances of getting a free space outside the hotel are fair during the off-season, you'll be lucky to find one during the busy summer months. Other options are available nearby but you'll have to pay for the privilege.

While the limited parking is a bit irritating and the absence of a guest lounge does leave a bit of a hole (more than you'd think), it's fair to say that these are relatively minor niggles. When all's said and done The Dolphins is actually a pretty good p
